The Learn and Master Family of Products

You probably landed on this page from another article on my site here at LearningPianoToday.com. If that’s the case welcome. On this page I want to introduce you to the other members of the Learn and Master family of self study courses.

You’re probably already familiar with the Learn and Master Piano course, which I recommend all over my site here, but you may not know that the company behind this course is Legacy Learning Systems, and that this company has several other products it offers in the music and artistic markets to help you learn new skills that you’ve always dreamed of. Let’s take a look at some of their other courses.

Guitar

Piano isn’t actually the most popular course in their family of products, Guitar is. The guitar is the most popular instrument learned by beginners so it makes sense that Legacy Learning launched their company with the Learn and Master guitar course.

A 25 disc set, learn and master guitar, like piano, takes a beginner by the hand and teaches them all they need to know on the path to becoming a skilled guitarist.

Drums

The drums were a logical step for Legacy Learning to create a course for. Since again it’s another popular instrument that private music schools and teachers offer lessons for. The Learn and Master Drums course is again similar to the piano and guitar courses.

It contains several lessons dvds which contain enough content for most beginners to keep busy for over a year as well as play along cds you can use during your practice sessions.

This is one of the only (there are three or four others) DVD self study courses available for drums on the Internet.

Blues Guitar

This course came after the learn and master guitar program but it is taught by the same instructor, Steve Krenz. While this course isn’t mean for complete beginners it does a great job of keeping what can be a technical topic light.

If you have some basic guitar skills down already this is probably a great course for you if you’re a fan of the blues. Learn and master blues guitar is also one of Legacy Learning’s Spotlight courses. These are a smaller course then their full blow learn and master series and also costs a bit less.

Ballroom Dance

This is the first Legacy product I have seen that isn’t directly related to music. My Interest of course in the music products comes as I’m an amateur guitarist and songwriter.

Learn and Master ballroom dance none the less contains that same great quality as their other learning products but comes with music cds rather then play along discs. This makes sense since you don’t have an instrument to jam along with to the music.

These discs are used for practicing the steps of the dances you learn through the course at home.

That’s a brief intro to the family of products. There are more being added all the time and their spotlight series of courses which now contains bass and guitar setup will be ones to watch as well.
